Musical splendor ...
... on Wednesday, Debbie and I went to hear Christoph Eschenbach conduct the Philadelphia and mucho choruses and soloists and Mahler's eighth symphony. It was marvelous. Here is my friend and former colleague David Stearns's review: Mahler's '8th' at Kimmel is something to be devoured.
