short story by the New Zealand writer Janet Frame in a recent issue of
The New Yorker. Frame published a lot of work during her lifetime but this was found after she died in 2004. It's worth reading. Her images and metaphors are strong, and so original.
You're right, definitely worth reading. I've just ordered her autobiography as a consequence, so thanks.
