  2. LOL. Not to worry, Katie; I think Canadians are going downhell as well in the eyes of the world. According to those in the know, we're the lowest of the G-8 low.

Interesting, though, The Globe and Mail's Elizabeth Renzetti, stationed in London, filed a similiar report on the phenom 12 September:

CAN U colour me confoooosed? Why the massive media scrutiny of your 4 November election right around the world? Every paper worth its weight in wonderment's devoting an entire section to what many are calling the most important political event of the decade (if not the new millennium).

    Revulsion or fascination?

    Brrrzzzttt!!!

I'll take, "What Is Jellis for a Grand, Alex?"

(My Name is Can-Nobody and I approve this message. LOL.)

  3. BTW, Katie, see what I mean? Even Slate reports on how Canada's no longer squeaky clean:

Christopher Flavelle wonders "What's the Matter With Canada?" in a piece explaining "how the world's nicest country turned mean."

(Well, for his part, Mr. Dion really is doing his damnedest to shift this once-glorious God's country a little closer to the land of the eternal green.)
