And, again, Susan, as I said in an earlier comment, I'm truly saddened to hear today's your last day. This is hard, I know, for everyone (but, especially when you sorta know the parties involved); plus, we had our own volumes of eloquent silence m/uttered at The Globe two weeks ago.
How low are we going to go before there's nothing at all left in this show-and-tell hell? It's specious to blame the 'net for the demise of Book Pages; rather, those responsible, the Newspaperly PTB, ought to be named, shamed, and properly blamed.
Good'un, Frank. I'm reviewing the Updike and at first glance, it looks quite good -- mordantly funny, as he is at the top of his game.
