I think journalism might be helped if those practicing learned to take it a little less seriously. Doing it is hardly in a league with the higher maths.
On top of all the bad business news, there’s the ever-growing perception that journalists are biased: The New York Times is liberal, FOX is right-wing and most bloggers are openly partisan one way or another.
Egawds, what a crock. The medium is the message; all journalism has a slant, nature of the carrion-feast commodified beast. Did this "thinker" not bother to buy an Addisonian clue nor Steele a pair of shoe? And, bloggers? Partisan? Rally? Pshaw.
McLuhan woulda been much harsher; he'd prolly call a statement such as this a digital chip off the ol' integrated blockhead.
