Thank you for the link, Frank - I had forgotten, or did not know, that you had read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. If you enjoyed it, you will probably enjoy The Girl Who Played with Fire even more - I thought it a much better book (though riddled with small errors and slips, you could forgive it). Much more fun than inaugural poems or Gilead! (On inagural poems, by the way, the tradition over here is that as soon as someone becomes Poet Laureate, they never write a good poem again. I think Ted Hughes bucked that trend slightly, but it has reverted since.)
