Odd fellow ...

... The Strangest Man: the Hidden Life of Paul Dirac, Quantum Genius by Graham Farmelo. (Hat tip, Dave Lull.)

I wonder if work in science in any way reflects the personality of the scientist. We take it for granted that a work of art reflects in some way, to some degree, the personality of artist, but assume that this is not true when it comes to science. Is that assumption sound?
This is not a rhetorical question. I have no idea as to what the answer might be.
