Shallow and irritating ...

If, as someone commented on an earlier post of mine about Malcolm Gladwell, I "entirely missed the point of Gladwell's article," more and more people seem to be having the same problem. Actually, of course, I don't think I missed his point at all. I don;t think he made his point. The financial model the commenter cites also takes three or four years and is based on observation over time. It predicts nothing. The problem Gladwell cites is the inability to predict certain things. At no point does he provide a way of predicting anything with regard to them.
