And Andrew doesn't think this is true of the left as well? Because it is. And who cares if conservatism lives or dies? Or whether liberalism lives or dies? Once anything becomes an ism it's already starting to die. I want to preserve what deserves to be preserved and needs protection, and I want to be as free as possible within reason. Think in these terms, Andrew, and cut out the ideological guff.
