Absolvo te ...

... "Suspicion always haunts the guilty mind." - Shakespeare.

One of these days, I'm going to stop reviewing, so I can read only those books I feel I must read before I go to that great library in the sky (where an everlasting Dave Lull will doubtless weigh me in the balance and find me wanting).

  1. Let us hope that the great library in the sky has a really eclectic collection so that we can continue reading well into eternity. Of course, the Stygian alternative will include plenty of books but no eyeglasses (much like Burgess Meredith's character in a great Twilight Zone episode from the 60s). That being said, I hope I make to the former rather than the latter.

  2. Oh, I'd never considered this possibility, Frank; but, now that you mention it, it's true: When we all participate in that Heavenly MeetUp, I bet you dollars to doowaps there will be a chorus of nifty angels fluttering around Brel and we'll be transfixed listening to every last tune in the fresh; and, then?

FaveDave will lope alongside us and remind us that there are other pressing items demanding our attention. You know, not-to-miss bliss kind of takes we love and he daily delivers; the only difference, I bet, is he'll be the resident crier and will have one of those trumpets that announce his delightful insightful discoveries of the day and the unfurling scroll will indubitably say:
