In today's often too-insular poetry world, Turner is such a fresh voice. Partly that's because he's engaged with the world, with life, rather than with Scholastic poetizing.
I think he's terrific, and wish him well on his travels. (I should also admit that I'm jealous of his Lowell scholarship. What I would do with that!)
