Years ago, a friend drove me to Philly from DC in his Corvette. At one point we crossed over in Jersey and along one stretch of road were cruising merrily at 125 m.p.h. I believe we made the trip from Georgetown to the Ben Franklin bridge in a little over two hours. Those were the days.
