Not necessarily …

… beyond eastrod: Mission Impossible: Teaching Sonnet 73, a bittersweet celebration of aging, to university undergraduates.



I first encountered Sonnet 73 as a college freshman. It arrested my attention and I took it to heart. But even  if  I hadn't, I think its words and sentiments would have taken hold of me somewhere and come to mind later when I found myself in a similar place in life, as we all must if we live long enough.
