I could not agree with his diatribe about allowing students to be "disrespectful". Then he says this, demanding his students be respectful, "Before we go, let us take a few minutes to look at the last page of your syllabus where I explain the importance of coming to class on time, turning off your cell phone, and refraining from talking during lectures."
He ends by saying that if anyone disagrees with his stance, he or she can leave the school, get a job alongside immigrants, and then leave the country and no one will miss them. "Adams School has just begun. No more laughing, no more fun. If you show your teeth or tongue, you will have a penalty done." Ostracism or worse.
