And why not ...

... A Poetic Celebration of Horses.

I'm a big horse fan. In fact, many years ago, I did the racing charts at The Inquirer. Then my career began to spiral downward.

Until you retired your career, you mean, right? Then, you began to climb the spiral stair and we're all the better to see you t/here; but, those Racing Form rags made great reading when I was driving cab in The Big Choke, er, Toronto (where I was born) during grad skewl. Not because I handicapped the races, nope; but, because some passengers left 'em behind when I drove 'em home and they'd had a bad day at the track. I just *loved* the names of the horses and still do:

Baba Gonzo, Dancer Cielo, Ecclesiastic, Frisky Spider, Hopefortheroses, Madcap Escapade, No More Chads, Omega Code, Paradise Dancer, Roaring Fever, Silver Rapt, Sunshine Messenger, Sweet Vision, Thunder Touch, Trees in Gold, Western Halo, Zipper Zipper Dee?

I just went and checked is why I can report they're still spectac, I can even see bands taking them as names or imagine poems following them as titles . . . er, C U L8R :).
