Amazing. Did not know of Mr. Healy's existence; but, am looking forward to reading the book. His situation reminds me, loosely, of the fate of New Yorker David Markson (published by the Dalkey Archive as well as the now-subsumed Shoemaker & Hoard). Both men deserve universal acclaim, it seems; and, sadly, neither has really received anywhere near the attention the work clearly merits.

Although the design of this 'site's a little "different," it provides further insight into John Healy's comings, goings, doings, and undoings:

When all is said and sung, I often wonder who will make their enduring mark in the Book of Eternity; and, on that note, a high C YA in September, I wish all well and hope your days and nights are as delightfully fine as you, yours, and ours consistently make mine. Ta.
