Who cares?

... How Old Can a ‘Young Writer’ Be? (Hat tip, Dave Lull.)

As the article itself demonstrates, some get out the gate, others not so soon. I did seem to me years ago that John Updike remained fixed as a "young" author longer than was reasonable.
