A Poem...After Camus

A person’s task is nothing

but the slow trek to rediscover

through the detours of art,

and the ways of the soul,

and the thoughts of the mind,

and the hard toil of the hands,

the way of God,

in whose Presence

the heart and the mind and the soul and the hands 

first opened
