One can only hope …

… This Study Could Be 'Scientific Nail in the Coffin' for Masks.

The study was published on January 30 by the Cochrane Library, a world-renowned medical database that is famous for its high-quality evidence reviews. It comes as a battering ram to the recommendations of the U.S. public health establishment, which urged children as young as two to wear masks throughout the pandemic.

  1. Faults in the Cochrane review were quickly found, so it is nothing that should be circulated in the media to stupidify the public. It would be crazy to think that one meta review would overturn what scientists have clearly shown to be otherwise, that masks indeed and significantly prevent the spread, both to you and from you to others. And it is the spread that is still killing us. Anyone who may find that Cochrane review confusing or even persuasive can easily do their own search for information. I'm pro-science and anti-so-called-"science".

    1. I second that opinion Rus Bowden. Frank always says that he is a former medical editor. Yeah, medical editor for a newspaper. He's a journalist not a doctor. His experience is not germane to public health issues.
