I didn't think much of that Telegraph piece. (The quality of the comments it got says it all -- no bloggers read it obviously!)
Addiction is addiction, surely? If you are addicted to nicotine, other drugs, alcohol, TV, internet, gambling -- whatever -- it is not so good. But in moderation, many of the items on this list are OK or even good. (not all I admit)
"Online" is not a homogeneous activity. You can be online being a terrorist or online saving lives when a tsunami is about to strike.
A superficial article, typical of what passes for intelligent thought in the UK media. Superficial is the kindest word to say about it.
