The future of language ...

... would appear to be anglicized: English is flowing everywhere.

  1. I don't think that Globish cannot define a culture. It may not define what culture stands for, if we are to consider its etymological source. But globish, like all things transitory, may define this rapidly evolving life on the fast wheel culture, which, might just redefine what culture is and how it is referred to.

    It may just breed a new Bohemian sensibility and an entirely new kind of philistinism.

    Just my thoughts!

  2. I tend to agree. I think we're moving toward a global culture (though many are protesting this loudly, even violently) and I can't think of anything better for mankind than a common tongue (though I would hope the other languages would continue to be cherished and studied). Just because something new comes along doesn't mean that anything old need be lost.
