The first layoffs ...

... at The Inquirer became known today. In all the nearly 27 years I have been at the paper, this is perhaps the saddest. You will understand that I do not feel like blogging.

  2. That really stinks.

Anything I can do, let me know.

  3. I too, just saw the AP story, so I rushed right over.

I will pray that the Lord gives you strength, my friend, to help console others!

Just saw the story and was very sorry to hear the bad news, Frank. Best wishes to you and the gang, present and sadly past, at the Inquirer.

I've read that the death of a loved one, serious illness, divorce AND job loss are considered by professionals to be among the most emotionally traumatic and stressful events a personal can experience.

I hope everyone lands on his/her feet quickly.

A bit late going online today, Frank, as it was my first day back to work after the Christmas break and I've only just finished. I am so sorry to read this news. My thoughts with you and your colleagues.
