Tells you what I know ...

... Testing Your Knowledge of 2006 Literary Matters.

And here's how I did (which is better than I would have thought, since I guessed a bit):

You scored 13 out of a possible 21
Not bad at all. A keen awareness of the literary landscape, with just enough omissions to confirm that you have also managed to retain the semblance of a functioning social life. Merry Christmas!

Amazing that they think I managed to retain a semblance of a social life.

Guess what, I scored 13 too! We are as one. (I would have been surprised you didn't score more, but having read the questions, some of which are highly specialised and/or somewhat silly, I'm not.)

I scored a 12. But that was only because the Alice Cooper golf question was for me, to use a golf term, a "gimme." Not that I golf. Or listen to Alice Cooper. Anyway, for many of the questions I pretty much guessed at what I thought were likely answers. I should be pleased that I scored almost as high as Frank and Maxine. Perhaps it says something, but probably only about the silliness of the quiz. And that I'm not a bad guesser. It got me through high school.

I only got 7 right and I think they were all guesses.

I must have been living under a rock the past year...
