I was wondering why Dave sent you this piece, until I read down far enough to see that the poet lives in Duluth! Interesting that Mark Rylance got a lot of coverage out of it - use of a literary device to make sure it is your award that gets covered in the papers, not everyone else's. I hope he did attribute his source in his speech, though, it rather sounds not - it sounds as if he only provided an explanation, and an attibutation, when asked afterwards what he had meant. Naughty.
