Before the beginning ...

... Before the Big Bang.

In his Confessions, ancient Greek philosopher St. Augustine proposed that before creation, there was no time as we know it, “no past and no future” but simply “always the present.”
Just for the record, Augustine was a Fourth Century Berber born in what is now Algeria.

  1. I've actually read this book. It's okay. This is an area where I read extensively, so there wasn't much new to me.
