Here's the problem with cameos in fiction. If you're any good, then the parody generally transforms into an entirely new character who has little relation to the person you modeled from. To the point where the real-life template will seem to think that the fictional construct bears some resemblance to the original, when it couldn't be further from the truth. Such is Bill Peschel's dilemma. And such will be the dilemma of a few people who may see parallels in something big I'm working on.
