Mr. Bloom's neighborhood ...

Joyce would want us to embrace city life, to walk more slowly through crowded streets, to linger, to act the part of the flâneur.
Though Joyce himself was known as a fast walker, head down, shoulders thrust forward, walking at speed "like a man on a mission," someone said.
