I was not amused by the book geek's snide remark about not putting Tom Ridge in charge of anything.
Although I don't agree with all of his views, Governor Ridge presided over a Homeland Security organization that helped to prevent another 9/11 attack on our soil.
Governor Ridge served his country in combat in Vietnam and he was a prosecutor and a Governor before he took over Homeland Security.
Did the book geek serve in Vietnam? Has he spent even a single day in uniform or served our country in any capacity?
If not, perhaps he ought to hold off on the snide comments and show a bit of respect for Ridge's service - even if he does not agree with Ridge's political views.
