I am routinely astounded by Mark's clarity and insight.

  1. I am, too. Except there's a few gaps.

    He gets it wrong about fractals, for example, at least in my opinion. (Having just listened to Mandelbrot's TED talk, my opinion is reinforced.) Of course, description of the natural world is also relative; fractals are more accurate than any other math so far, although there are still perturbations they don't quite match.
