Some garden shots ...

  1. Frank, a plant question for you. There's this bush with white flowers in clusters that smell really, really good that I'm dying to know the name of. It's almost like honeysuckle, but I know that isn't it, because honeysuckle is a vine and this is a bush, and honeysuckle doesn't bloom until at least July, and this bush flowers now in spring. You're the only gardener I know, so I thought you might know what I'm talking about.

  2. Actually, there are bush honeysuckles. Take a look at these.

By the way, I just sent off the check for the house in Tunkhannock. Two weeks in the middle of August.

  3. Eureka! It's hydrangea! While googling bush honeysuckles, I ran across it serendipitously. I can't tell you how happy I am to finally know!

It should be much nicer in Tunkhannock in the middle of August than it will be here! Much cooler.
