Quite interesting ...

... given the subject: Duh, Bor-ing - Commentary Magazine.

Of course, it is by the great Joseph Epstein. My only contribution is to note, once again, a key distinction: One may be bored, but it is not boring.

  3. I think boredom lies entirely in willingness to be bored. I'm never bored because I decided decades ago not to allow myself to be. Not that a great many things out there don't work pretty hard to bore us all.
