In District of Columbia vs. Heller, the Supreme Court decided that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to possess a firearm. So that argument, in this country, has been settled. I am glad these women had the means to defend themselves. Experience always takes precedence over theory.
Is this supposed to be an argument in favour of gun ownership?
