  3. I didn't support the 2006 subject heading changes (it wasn't done in the catalog I'm in charge of), so I think the "undignified u-turn" was a wise decision.

    In response to this story, in his posting "United by a separate language", Alan Bissett, though, like me, he finds the u-turn "highly welcome," argues that "[t]he triumphant achievements of self-consciously Scottish literature have, paradoxically enough, brought it closer to English writing"
