Thought for the day ...

Those who believe that they believe in God, but without passion in their hearts, without anguish in mind, without uncertainty, without doubt, without an element of despair even in their consolation, believe only in the God idea, not God Himself.
- Miguel de Unamuno

  2. Unamuno would understand. And so do I. Much of the debate over God's existence is about human concepts of God, which seem vain to those who sense God's presence.

  3. Good point. The argument isn't about whether God is but who He is or should be in our minds.
