A most interesting question …

… a commonplace from eastrod: Thomas Cromwell, Purgatory, and the problems presented by beliefs.

I tend to regard my beliefs as provisional rather than conclusive, so they've ebbed and flowed a good deal. Regarding the tents of my faith, I follow Paul's advice and "think on those things."

  1. Although I do not know much about the finer points of "belief," especially as they involve either philosophy or religion, I know enough not to be static and unthinking in my beliefs. Darwin would be proud of me. I am constantly evolving. I wonder about people who never reconsider their beliefs.
