Our first issue came out a week ago; we're well into preparations for the next.
The idea came out of a discussion in the Internet Writing Workshop -- http://www.internetwritingworkshop.org/ - in which everybody was lamenting the gradual demise of book reviews in the mass media.
We're not paying reviewers yet, but we will when we're established and get enough ads. It's just a matter of time. We're producing a quality product already, and it will get even better.
