Canadian Publications Worth Their Weight in WithIts in "A (Sometimes) Great Nation"

The Georgia Straight's been around forever; it used to be much more underground than it is, now; but, there's still plenty of dissent to spare over there on the left coast (which is another in my series of Canadian periodic boosts, er, boasts).

OTOH, the politically inclined might wish to keep Rabble in mind. Just sayin' . . . not a-rousin' anything more than it's there and it's rowdy and it aims to leftward score (or scare; take your picket fence with you when you go, though). En Garde!

OTOOH, there's the national Mallick brouhahaggle the CBC's flaunting, a dame who's born to be fired by every place, just about, where she's ever been hired. My uneasiness over this business arises from my sense that, if a guy had penned this vicious vituperant, he'd be locked, stocked, and terminally shocked.
